Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a web site to have a virtual tour?

No the tour is accessed via a simple link. You may already advertise on one of the many holiday rental sites, some of them allow you to put links on their site. If not you can advertise that there is a virtual tour available for the property and the links can be emailed.

If I have my own website can the tour be embedded into a web page?

Yes the tour can be embedded into a web page and we will provide the code but it is better to take advantage of our hosting service and insert a link button which will open a separate page this way the download speed of your site will not be affected.

Can I use my own photographs in the tour?

Yes I will enhance them and include them in the tour in the form of a slideshow. Photos of local tourist attractions are also a good idea include. There will be a small charge for each photo included.

How long will the tour take to photograph?

The virtual tour will take around a couple of hours to photograph, although the processing carried out off site takes a lot longer. The tour should be online in around 48 hours.

Are there discounts available?

There are ways to reduce the cost. If you can arrange for someone else to have a tour that lives near you, that way I can pass on the savings in travel time.

What is the hosting charge?

The internet service providers charge for web space I am simply passing this on with a small charge for admin.

Will a virtual tour really increase my business?

Using a holiday rental property as an example – Ask yourself this question, imagine you want to book a holiday cottage, you see 2 you like the sound of in a magazine – you visit their websites – one has only a few limited view photographs making it difficult to get an idea of what the property is really like, the other has a virtual tour showing the whole property clearly – which one would you book?
